Our Origin
Three traditions.
One destination.
For centuries, the world's most extraordinary beverages traveled the same ancient trade routes — saffron-spiced Arabic qahwa carried in golden dallahs, delicate Chinese oolongs wrapped in hand-painted canisters, Venetian espresso blends ground by master roasters. They crossed the same deserts and seas. They just never shared a shelf.
Carvāna was born to change that. We are the curated bridge between three great coffee and tea cultures — a destination for people who travel widely, taste deeply, and refuse to settle for a single story in their cup.
Every product we carry is sourced with a name behind it: a Yemeni cooperative, a Fujian tea garden, a fifth-generation Milanese roaster. We don't sell commodities. We sell conversations.
"The finest cup you will ever drink is the one that carries a story you haven't heard yet."

Three Worlds. One Shelf.
The Arabic Tradition
The Golden Dallah
Arabic coffee — qahwa — is not a drink. It is a ceremony. Brewed with green or lightly roasted beans, steeped with cardamom, saffron, and dried rose petals, it has welcomed guests in Arabian households for over five centuries.
Carvāna sources from Yemeni highland cooperatives and Hejazi specialty farms, offering everything from everyday cardamom blends at $32 to single-origin Haraazi qahwa in hand-stamped collector tins at $180.
The Chinese Tradition
The Gongfu Bowl
Gongfu tea — "tea with great skill" — transforms a single Fujian oolong or Yunnan aged pu-erh into a meditation. Each steeping reveals a new layer: floral, then mineral, then deep earth. Chinese tea masters speak of cha qi: the energy a tea carries long after the last sip.
Our Chinese collection spans rare white teas from Fujian's Zhenghe county, hand-rolled Taiwanese high-mountain oolongs, and aged pu-erh cakes with provenance documentation — from $28 samplers to $340 collector editions.
The European Tradition
The Roman Roast
In the caffè culture of Milan and Vienna, espresso is architecture — crema thickness, extraction time, grind geometry. European specialty coffee brought the world the third-wave concept: traceability, terroir, and taste as a language.
Carvāna carries single-terroir lots from fifth-generation Italian roasters alongside light Nordic filter roasts and Vienna's storied mélange tradition — beans from $30 per bag to curated monthly roaster subscriptions at $95.
How We Curate
Our four commitments
Named origins only
Every product lists the farm, cooperative, or garden it comes from. No anonymous commodity blends, ever. You deserve to know whose hands grew what's in your cup.
Cultural context, always
Each product ships with a brewing guide rooted in the tradition it came from. A qahwa blend arrives with the ceremony. A gongfu tea arrives with the ritual. Story is non-negotiable.
Every budget, every ritual
We believe great taste shouldn't be a gate kept by price. Our range runs from a daily $32 bag to a $340 collector edition — the quality is serious at every level.
Fair to the source
We pay premium above Fair Trade minimums because we want those farms and gardens to exist in fifty years — so their children can still grow the world's finest leaves and beans.
Gift the World
The gift they'll
never expect.
Our curated gift sets pair one product from each tradition — Arabic, Chinese, European — in handcrafted packaging that tells the full Silk Road story. Perfect for the person who has everything except perspective.
